Water Wise Street Trees

Water Wise Street Trees are a low cost technology that delivers big benefits to the streetscape, our natural environment, our local community and the downstream waterways. Water by Design is encouraging organisations to install Water Wise Street Trees using passive irrigation technology. This technology utilises readily available stormwater, rather than potable water to irrigate street trees, reducing costs and the impacts of polluted stormwater on our local creeks. After taking this course practitioners will understand the key details for best practice design. This course is funded with assistance from the Queensland Government, Department of Environment and Science.
